Daylee Life Hub

Privacy Policy

Daylee Life Hub for iPhone and iPad, and the website dayleelifehub.co.uk. Last updated: 5 November 2026.

The short version

The app has no accounts and no adverts, and it does not track you or collect information about you. Everything you add stays on your iPhone or iPad.

Who I am

Daylee Life Hub is made by Alec Stanton, an independent developer in the United Kingdom. You can contact me at support@dayleelifehub.co.uk.

What the app keeps

Your tasks, notes, schedule, money (including any PDF copies of your bills that you choose to save), meals and fitness entries are saved only in the app's storage on your device. They are not sent to me or to anyone else. If you tap Export on a saved PDF, it goes only where you choose in the share sheet.

When the app uses the internet

Only when you ask it to. "Import from a web page" in My Recipes fetches the page address you give it, directly from that website, and reads it on your device. I never see it. The recipe search button in the Meal Planner opens Google in your browser, and anything you search there is handled by Google, not by this app. Product suggestions in the Shopping List use data from Open Food Facts. No account is used and no cookies are kept by the app.

Camera and photos

If you scan a recipe from a cookbook page, the camera or a photo you choose is read on your device and is never uploaded. Photos are not kept.

Notifications

Kitchen timers and reminders use notifications set up on your device. They are not sent from a server.

Backups

If you back up your iPhone or iPad, Apple may include the app's information in that backup under Apple's own terms.

Deleting your information

Deleting the app from your device removes everything it saved.

This website and the beta sign-up

The website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. If you join the beta list, I collect the email address you enter (and your first name, if you give it). I use it only to send you a TestFlight invitation and updates about the beta, and I do not share it or sell it. Sign-up details are received through the website host, Netlify, and delivered to my support inbox. I keep them until the beta ends or until you ask me to remove them, whichever is sooner. To be removed, or to ask what I hold about you, email support@dayleelifehub.co.uk. Under UK data protection law you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page and shown in the app.
